CW Viewpoint S01E08 | Louvre Abu Dhabi's mashrabiya

Highlights from the latest episode of Construction Week Viewpoint, as the hosts discuss the majestic, 7,500t mashrabiya-inspired dome that appears to float above Louvre Abu Dhabi.

The dome has a diameter of 590ft and its steel structure is made up of more than 400,000 components, with 7,850 unique interlocked stars, which allow natural light to pass through the roof and illuminate the art gallery below.
